The Lincoln Loop is a 3.6 mile walk along three country dirt roads that begins and ends at the
historic Goose Creek Meeting House on Lincoln Road in the village of Lincoln. If you print this map,
bring it along when you visit, or ask at the Post Office if they have any extra copies.
Along this easy walk, note the historic houses and sites of interest. (Due to the development which
now occupies the former Frazer Farm, some natural sites along Sands Rd are gone. They're history, so
to speak.)
You can walk (or drive, or ride your bike) in either direction along the loop. If you begin at the Goose
Creek Meeting, facing the little Oakdale School, you can proceed to the left down Sands Rd, or to the
right down Foundry Road.
If you go down Sands Rd, walk for a mile or so to right on Taylor Rd. Follow this to the end and turn
right on Foundry Rd. This will bring you back to the Meetinghouse. If you go down Foundry Rd, just
reverse the intructions to get back to the meetinghouse. Have fun!
